Join us for a memorable evening of fine wine at Terrace Room's first dinner in our Meet the Makers Series, featuring selections from Northern Italy's Capanna Farm Winery.
Daniele Marconi, Capanna's Export Manager, will share a brief history of the family-owned and farmed small-batch winery and present five wines from their portfolio. Terrace Room’s Chef Alberto Ilescas will introduce each pairing and talk about how the wines have influenced the evening’s menu selections.

About Capanna Farm
Founded by Giuseppe Cencioni, Capanna Farm has been owned by the Cencioni family since 1957. It was one of the first farms of the modern period of Brunello and Giuseppe was one of the 25 founders of the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino. Currently helmed by sons Benito and Franco, Capanna began bottling their own wines in the 1960s. In 1975 they began exporting Brunello di Montalcino DOC – Capanna 1970. The farm and winery are still operated by the Cencioni family in Italy's Montosoli area, north of Montalcino.
